Not only did I never even suspect Paul was gay as I was growing up, I didn't even suspect it when I researched him for an article in the late 1980's...when I was nearly 30!!!! looking at it now, I suppose it should have been obvious but I guess that just shows how little that kind of thing matters if you're THAT funny!
