Taking It To The Streets

 

Here is an interesting piece of history. From 1965 in London:  The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), an anti-nuclear organization that advocates unilateral nuclear disarmament by the United Kingdom, international nuclear disarmament and tighter international arms regulation, held the Aldermaston March, from the Atomic Weapons Establishment near Aldermaston to Trafalgar Square, London. At the far left is a 17-year-old Marc Bolan (then in the band, John’s Children, several years before forming T.Rex) along with such notables as Joan Baez, Donovan, Tom Paxton & Vanessa Redgrave.
