Here’s One That Got Away

How did I miss this concert? I am guessing that this took place circa 1971 and as a teenager in 1971 I was into Alice Cooper and I had already been to Barberton Speedway with my uncle. Located near Barberton, Ohio (the town with the best damn chicken anywhere), Barberton Speedway is a small asphalt short track. It’s 20 minutes from where I live (I prefer dirt racing though) but I have been there a number of times over the years, especially when guys like Dale Tope and Baldy Baker raced there. I can’t believe that I not only missed this gig, but I had no idea it was ever even held.  If I only knew at the time cousin Sue and I would have been there!
